Learn about the special Black Oak Savannah ecosystem, explore some of the lesser known trails, and meet other nature photography enthusiasts on the walk.
All are welcome. You don’t need to have photography experience or a DSLR. Many participants bring a smartphone.
A safe drone launch demonstration is included. Learn about the operation of the popular micro drone known as the DJI Mavic Mini.

Here are some High Park aerial photos by Kanchan. This area is the Hillside Gardens by Grenadier Pond. In spring the sakura cherry blossoms are marvelous. In fall we expect to see some wonderful autumn foliage.

Our first photo walk (ever) took place in fall 2018. Here is the post that followed the walk. Note: this walk took place in mid October. For our late October walk we expect more leaves to have changed colour and fallen from the trees. However we can’t predict exactly when “peak fall” will happen.
