Event postponed until June 18. Thank you.

During this meetup we look at:

High Park is a fantastic place to explore the flora and fauna of the Greater Toronto Area including plants, trees and animals typical of Southern Ontario. Learn about the special Black Oak Savannah ecosystem, explore some of the lesser known trails, and meet other nature photography enthusiasts on the walk.

All are welcome. You don’t need to have photography experience or a DSLR. Many participants bring a smartphone.

Meeting location: The meeting spot is TBA, you will receive a confirmation email by noon on the day of the event. Please add [email protected] to your address book. We usually email you by noon with tips and updates.

Here are some High Park photos

High Park has a wonderful variety of flowers, plants and trees, spread out along grassy and wooded areas. Here are some highlights from summer and fall. This group of photos by Kanchan.

Our first photo walk (ever) took place in fall 2018. Here is the post that followed the walk. Note: this walk took place in mid October. For our late October walk we expect more leaves to have changed colour and fallen from the trees. However we can’t predict exactly when “peak fall” will happen.
