Public Art Photo Walk and Tour in Downtown West Toronto June 25, 2023

This photo walk meetup and walking tour is for photographers, fans of art and city explorers. All are welcome. Our focus is on art, culture, history, and particularly the photography of public art in downtown west Toronto. The walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours.

The downtown features some amazing public art, installation and sculpture. We also look at some incredible architecture. This tour is led by Mike Simpson, avid photographer and art enthusiast.

Some highlights of the walk:

• Canoe Landing Park
• CityPlace
• Puente de Luz bridge
• Skydome aka Rogers Centre
• Union Station
• many views of CN Tower

Event produced in association with Iconic Toronto.

You do not need to have a professional camera. Many participants shoot with smartphones. Many of us are happy to share photography tips! This event will be an opportunity to network and learn more about the stories behind and the history of public art in Toronto.

Meeting location: The meeting spot is TBA, you will receive a confirmation email by noon on the day of the event. Please add [email protected] to your address book. We usually email you by noon with tips and updates.
