This meetup is for photographers, fans of art and city explorers. All are welcome. Our focus is on art, culture, history, and particularly the photography of public art in downtown west Toronto. The walk takes place before sunset and will last approximately two hours.
The downtown features some amazing public art, installation and sculpture. We also look at some incredible architecture. This tour is led by Mike Simpson, avid photographer and art enthusiast.
Some highlights of the walk:
- Union Station
- Financial District
- City Hall
- AGO / Grange Park
- Chinatown / Spadina Ave

You do not need to have a professional camera. Many participants shoot with smartphones. Many of us are happy to share photography tips! This event will be an opportunity to network and learn more about the stories behind and the history of public art in Toronto.
